Ringing In the New Year!

While the holiday season provides us with a wonderful opportunity to spend time with family and friends, it is also a time to reflect on how we can share our good fortune with others.

Hampton Country Day Camp maintains it’s involvement with charitable affairs year round. Not too long ago, several of us from our Timber Lake Family of Camps spent the day volunteering in the Rockaways helping those who had borne the brunt of Hurricane Sandy. It was a challenging but gratifying experience during this holiday season, with impressions that will be with us for a lifetime.

We have also had the opportunity to reconnect with many of our counselors, both from home and abroad, who have shared with us what they have been doing during the off-season months.  Their excitement about returning to camp this summer to be with your children remains a constant and we are all looking forward to reuniting once again for Summer 2013.

To all of our friends, camp families and staff, we look forward to what 2013 has in store for us and we wish each and every one of you a wonderful, happy and healthy year ahead!
