Kidsfest NYC

Recently, Hampton Country Day Camp participated in the Free Arts NYC’s “Kidsfest NYC” at Avenues: The World School.  Here, we provided a wonderful Sand Sculpture activity for children and their parents to enjoy while raising funds and awareness on how important the arts can be – especially to under-served children and their families.

Free Arts NYC programs inspire children to re-imagine their worlds and transform their lives through the arts. Children and families enrolled in Free Arts NYC programs are given the opportunity to express themselves as they deepen attachments and find relief from their everyday stressors.

These very special volunteers and professional facilitators cultivate an environment in which children and their parents build creativity, empathy and hope. Through the art-making experience, participants gain the courage and confidence to not only imagine their success but to realize it too!
